1949 Sager Chemical Double bit
I found this axe at the flea market one day with Nemo.
Cost me $5
I was able to save and reuse the handle, it came from a different axe, super thin and totally old school, just how i like em.
The axe has an overall length of 27 1/2”

Ok On the road to recovery. Someone beat the fucking snot out of the top of this one. Took me 30 minutes with a course double cut file to get it back to shape. Going to have to get some burs to do the inside of the eye. But here’s the progress de-rusted and cleaned. 1948 Sager Chemical

Because it's a "collectable" name in good shape... $100+ You can find just as good no name for $10.
