Glock Slide Milling

Post by HEYOPEY » Thu Nov 24, 2016 11:47 pm

Im looking into getting my Glock 17 slide milled for a RMR. I like the DP Custom Front Vertical Cocking Serrations and the Shallow Face Cut on the Sides and Front Top. Has anyone got a milled slide? any work from DP customs, or maybe know someone more local.

Highly recommend Suarez International for information and milling.

Mod 1 Firearms or Accurate Armory. Both in Lexington, both do great milling work.

I don't think either normally do any shallow work on the side like that so that would probably be some custom programming.

Glock was done by AA and the XDM by Mod 1

I can mill slide for sights and some simple cocking serrations and such , not much for lighting cuts or fancy work.

The Bullit Company has a guy that does that.

I would highly recommend ATEi for RMR milling. I'd trust any reputable shop for serrations and simple stuff, but ATEi has an exceptional record and design when it comes to milling for optics. They need your optic and slide, which will be milled to fit your particular optic to the correct depth with proper recoil bosses.

SS I like top cuts on your Glock, How can I get pricing from AA? and any idea what the turnaround time is?

http://www.accuratearmory.com has contact info. Keith can be a little difficult to get ahold of sometimes. Looks like he is doing some side indents like you talked about now. Doesn't have pricing on the website.
