Re: And the wait begins
I picked up my Kestrel 556 from adayton a while back. Haven't had the time to shoot it. On my way out the door to Open Range to try it out. I am thinking i will dedicate it to my 20" HBAR build. Finally took the A2 birdcage off it last weekend so i could screw on the Kestrel.

I ran across this adapter the other day to convert your kestrel to QD.Toddstang wrote:Kestrel 5.56.shaggy1392 wrote:What did you get?Toddstang wrote:My paperwork should be going out tomorrow for my can.

Re: And the wait begins
Called to check on my omega today and found out it was approved on 5/6. Hopefully my stamp makes it to the dealer soon. Now I'm just waiting on an obsidian, mask, specwar k and 2 more sbrs. Im also fighting the urge to buy an octane 45k now too. NFA is too damn addictive.

I'm trying to figure out how to free up some cash to buy a Sig 556 pistol to SBR. Still waiting on stamps for 2 cans.

I should probably pull the trigger on a trust while I can, just worried about how hard it would be to do. Have several AK pistols to convert and would like a .22 can I guess.

Re: And the wait begins
Even after the regulations change, it's not going to be terribly hard, IMO. Not really going to be much more difficult that submitting a stamp as an individual. Big difference will be if you have a bunch of trustees.Dave1965 wrote:I should probably pull the trigger on a trust while I can, just worried about how hard it would be to do. Re: And the wait begins
Right, just like you do as an individual, except that you only have to do that every 2 years. You can add an item, have trustees do their prints and photos, submit paperwork. If next month or six months or 23 months from the last set of prints/photos you submit more paperwork, you don't submit prints/photos again. I'm not a lawyer, but I did stay at a holiday inn express.Toddstang wrote:New regulations will require everyone listed on trust to be finger printed and photographed

Re: And the wait begins
You can also amend the trust to remove the trustees or add the trustees at any time. You don't have to submit prints/photos unless they're on the trust at the time you submit the forms.

Re: And the wait begins
An AAC Pilot 2 .22 can and a Griffin Optimus. The check was cashed on 2/9 for the Pilot. The stamp for the Optimus just got submitted on 4/9. That one there was a back order from Griffin. Didn't even get the serial number to do the dealer transfer until March 5th or something. I purchased both on 1/10/16 or thereabouts.shaggy1392 wrote:What cans are you waiting on?Gunsmokin wrote:Cool!shaggy1392 wrote:Called to check on my omega today and found out it was approved on 5/6.
