I want this truck!
I've been driving Fords for years, but goddam I want this truck.
I've had 2 2019 F350 diesels in the last 2 years, both have left me stranded for a week or more. My current one is in the dealer for a heater failure, locking up brakes, and a transfer case that can't decide where it needs to be .
Nice trucks, well equipped, but for how much I actually tow I think I might jump ship. Especially after last week when I did a 10 hr trip driving from Alaska to home with no heat and a transfer case that grenaded on me. This is the second '19 F350 I've had, the first had brakes fail, ecu lock up, and a turbo shit itself before 20 k (kms). When that happened, they told me maybe a month before they could get a replacement turbo. I told them they were buying my truck back, and they needed to find me a new one. They did, no issues there. But the new one is no better.
Life is too short for boring vehicles, and work is too important for broken vehicles. I am stuck with this piece of shit Ford right now, but I'm switching to a Chevy for the next one. If that one doesn't work I guess I'm fucked, I'd rather walk than drive a Dodge.
I should have kept my '15 F350, good truck with minimal maintenance. Just like my '08, still going strong.

There's no newer vehicles that really interest me. All seem to have their share of problems but yours sound worse than most. That chevy is a good looking truck.

Would be nice if Toyota would enter the 3/4 and 1 ton game. I know they have a diesel engine over seas (but i think its a 6 cy) and there was talk of bringing it to the states but don't think it ever panned out. But i also understand why they don't even try.

‘04 Silverado SS, the good years when you could only get them in AWD and red or black and only with the 6L. I miss it but there are chevy trucks I miss more:

I bought a Chevy truck once, and I inherited one. Those two trucks are all I need to make sure I never buy another GM product.
