12/19/20 shoot food list
Since it will likely be a cool to cold weather shoot let's do a rerun of another cool weather we did and everyone seemed to enjoy. Let's do cold weather/comfort foods... We are looking like 10-15 people so no one needs to bring a huge amount of anything. Post up what you'll bring and I'll keep it as updated as possible. I'm a little less active since I went all Al Bundy but I still look at least once or more a day.
Suggestions would be paper bowls, plastic spoons, cups, drinks, chili, stew, soup, stuff for peanut butter and/or grill cheese sandwiches (I'll bring a griddle if needed), casseroles, dessert items, chips, dip...
Me & +1-------------chili (crackers, cheese, sour cream, peanutbutter) & pancit canton
PDM-------------------stuffed mushrooms
plumber_bob------sandwhich stuff
WLJ-------‐------------indies wedges
bigelowe-------------chips, ice, drinks
Covered---------------bowls, spoons, forks

I’m sure your employer will commemorate your loyalty with a gold plated seiko while refusing to pay out your accrued sick time to your heirs. I could be wrong though.rustynuts wrote:46 years and never called in, can't really start now.

What he said...^^^ I feel like I have a decent work ethic, but after my little brother died at 24 I try to put life ahead of work since. You never know when you're going to check out. I still probably have better work ethic than average for sure, but I try not to regret missing things (at least that are important to me) now for work. Pretty sure if I live until I'm old I'll never regret that day or two of work I missed. I definitely understand being proud of 46 years of perfect attendance though, you should be.

The age of a dedicated employees is well over. Corporate existence today is too "what have you done lately" focused to care about the loyal individual.
Except for photo ops and culture fluffing.

Re: 12/19/20 shoot food list
It has nothing to do with my employer. My great grandfather never missed a day of work. My grandfather never once called in even when at one point he was working three jobs at the same time. My dad also never missed a day of work and neither has my brother.
I'll be damned if I'll be the first in my family in four generations to call in.
