Re: !0/22 mods?
I'm on the fence about getting these.
But I'm kinda new to the 10/22 scene.

I'm real tempted to get the binary trigger system for it too.

Re: !0/22 mods?
The auto bolt release yes it’s a must for a 10/22.
Mag lease there are tons to pick from.
IDK what to think of the charging handle but it’s up to you.

Re: !0/22 mods?
Auto bolt release is a must. I think the LH charge handle would be nice, but stock is okay to me, extended knob makes them a little nicer. That mag release from Tandomkross is WAY too big since it releases either way, it would hit and catch on everything dropping your mag (obviously that's just my opinion/experience of it). I also hate the stitty original carbine stocks. Newer 10/22's need trigger work in my opinion. BX-triggers are a nice upgrade for just over $50 if you're not comfortable or don't like polishing parts and stuff like that. Even a cheaper barrel is usually an improvement in accuracy also. 10/22's in my opinion are inconsistent. One is a tac driver and the next one that looks identical is shitty. 10/22's are legos of the .22 world, make them anything you want really. I loooooooove me some 10/22's!

Re: !0/22 mods?
Tandemkross mag bases screwed together or the mag doubler or whatever they call them are great also. More compact than the BX-25 and gives you 2 10rd mags you just have to flip.

Re: !0/22 mods?
Thanks guys.
I'm thinking I don't need the charging handle thing.
And I'll prolly do some hunting to see what brands of the other stuff there is.
It's a work in progress.
Actually I'd never found the original setup to be a problem, but I am new to this type of .22.

Re: !0/22 mods?
Yep and I've been happy with it.
But it's always been my nature to personalize/customize my stuff.
I think a Binary trigger will be 1st tho.

Re: !0/22 mods?
That's the main reason for me to get that one from you. I'd been wanting one for a long time just because there was so much aftermarket stuff for them.
Same for some other guns too.

Re: !0/22 mods?
It's pretty cool piecing one together exactly the way you want it also. Peices and parts are pretty easy to come by and not terrible prices either. They are pretty simple also. Now is a good time if you like to tinker because parts for these are far more reasonable and available than the common defense guns.

True!
Except for the trigger I want.
$300. Thinking hard before I pull that trigger! LOL

Re: !0/22 mods?
You can easily turn a $200 rifle into a $800 rifle in no time.
My last one I decided just to have the bolt jeweled and pinned, a Green Mountain fluted barrel, a Hogue over molded stock and a custom trigger.
I used this guy for the bolt work, http://www.ct-precision.com/1022rework.html

Re: !0/22 mods?
I have a binary trigger getting delivered Saturday. I was hoping to have a charger pistol built by the time I got the trigger. Alas, I do not.

Re: !0/22 mods?
I have a couple other 10/22’s. I’ll probably put it in one of those for a while.

Re: !0/22 mods?
I agree with you. I have 2 10/22's with the Brimstone trigger group that comes with the flat Tandemkross trigger and they are fantastic, but triple the cost of the BX-Trigger. It's my favorite over all trigger. My full KIDD rifle has around a 1lb trigger that is insane, but other than sitting at a shooting bench I would pick the TK/Brimstone any other time.
