AK Furniture
I’m looking to purchase some wood ak furniture for a stamped Arsenal. I’ve found several sets online that I like but the prices are crazy. I have the plum Arsenal furniture currently and would consider trading it for the right wood. Would really like some red shade Russian take offs but would consider whatever. Let me know if anyone has anything laying around they could live without. TIA

Re: AK Furniture
Wasn't that long ago you could have bought an entire AK for not much more than that.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Re: AK Furniture
Ain’t that the truth. People wanting top dollar for old war furniture. It’s insane.
Re: AK Furniture
found a russian full set for 150 on a site, probably could find one for 100 if you look hard, I have one of the red ironwoods on one of mine and like it but I got a deal at 175 a number of years ago. lots of sets on gunbroker for cheaper (like down to 75 bucks)
--and there were the days that moisins were 69 dollars not too long ago it seems but now they 300

Re: AK Furniture
Refinishing a stock is usually fairly easy unless it's got checkering to deal with.

That set on top isn’t too bad. I could always refinish and change the color I suppose. Good looking out!Dave1965 wrote:found a russian full set for 150 on a site, probably could find one for 100 if you look hard, I have one of the red ironwoods on one of mine and like it but I got a deal at 175 a number of years ago. lots of sets on gunbroker for cheaper (like down to 75 bucks)
