Stoeger 3000 issues
Re: Stoeger 3000 issues
M3500 diagram. It's the same just for 3.5" shells. Parts number 4 on the barrel is your ejector.

Your best bet is still to call Stoeger.

I spoke to him more last night and he has spoken to Stoeger and they told him 16, 26 and another spring that he couldn't remember which. He said they were always on backorder and just tired of fucking with it...haha He was in a trip in one of the Dakota's when it stopped working and he has been pissed off at it since...haha
He gave up on it and bought a Beretta...haha

Stoeger is a subsidiary of Benelli which in turn is owned by Beretta.Niceguy wrote:I spoke to him more last night and he has spoken to Stoeger and they told him 16, 26 and another spring that he couldn't remember which. There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Re: Stoeger 3000 issues
Huge props to Stoeger! I called them to ask about part # clarification and they asked me my issue. I told them my problem and my/our logic to fix the problem and they said "sounds like solid logic. What's your serial #? We'll send you one for free."! They also said that if it doesn't take care if it to just let them know and they'll try something else to send me at no cost and if that doesn't fix it, I'm welcome to send it in. Damn good customer service!

Told you, Stoeger has some stellar customer service. Hope that resolves it.
Also the m3k (3 gun model of the m3000) is probably the best entry level competition shotgun on the market right now. $550 for the gun and all it needs is a new tube extension for about a hundred and opening the load port up some more. Won't run the super light stuff but should run most bulk walmart federal just fine.

Re: Stoeger 3000 issues
I've been very happy with my JM Pro, but haven't put thousands of rounds through it either. I absolutely have nothing against Stoeger, I've had good luck with them. This is either the 2nd or 3rd shotgun of their me I've owned. This is the first time I've ever dealt with their customer service, they are absolutely fantastic! At least my one and only experience was.

Re: Stoeger 3000 issues
I had to run back out soon as I made it home. It may be tomorrow before I can see. I plan to smooth put the tube and clean the whole thing tonight. It will definitely be dark before I get it back together. I also need to pick up some hot 3" shells and see how she does. That's what it REALLY had problems with.

And 5000+rds, and out of warrantee, and did it without me asking them, with zero hassles and nice as could be and helpful. See if HK will give you that kind of service...Dave1965 wrote:its a two dollar springNiceguy wrote:2 days and for free...Kick ass Stoeger!

Plus, how much does it piss you off to pay $5-6 shipping for a $5 part?! They remedied that bullshit...haha

Re: Stoeger 3000 issues
a) HK's don't break....lol....I know
b) it doesn't bother me to pay for shipping as I will probably just order something else too
c) They send out $2 spring so they don't have to have whiney people calling in ten times and wasting their time
d)or sell problem child to you

A) riiiiight...haha
B) you apparently smoke crack or have WAY too much money if paying $5 for a $2 part doesn't bother you...
C) customer service is damn near a thing of the past, it's nice to actually see it on occasion.
D) this was a deal that even your tight ass wouldn't have passed up...

H&Ks never jam or have any sort of malfunction. Or at least that what it said in this here H&K brochure

Re: Stoeger 3000 issues
So far, the VP9 is the only HK that I really loved... I need another one of those in my life. Not a huge fan of the P30's, USP's, I've owned. Not really hating on them, just not for me.

Re: Stoeger 3000 issues
Thank ya... I polished where it rides with 220 and then metal polish, it's slick! I did the same to the bolt carrier that rides on the tube and compresses the spring. I'll test it out tomorrow.

Re: Stoeger 3000 issues
After a few spring swaps and some polishing I seemed to have the bugs worked out... I put 50rds of hot 3" shells and 50rds of 2 3/4 yesterday and did a little over 100rds today doing a round of sporting clays and then playing around after... Had 2 failures to eject total. I suck at clays, but had a blast!
