Thanks. I went with a 10" but am thinking I should have gone shorter. When my obsidian come home I'm planning to use it in the k configuration instead the octane so it will be white a bit shorter. I may end up switching it out.Gunsmokin wrote:I have the same handguard on my 9mm, just a 7". Looks awesome with the suppressor.

If you do and want to sell it, let me know. My 9mm AR has a 10.5 barrel that would probably be perfect for.shaggy1392 wrote:Thanks. I went with a 10" but am thinking I should have gone shorter. Re: 9mm SBR
I am going with a 4.25" odin works rail that was discontinued. I got lucky and found a vendor that had a few still. I believe it has an ID of 1.58". I decided I wanted to have the option of shooting unsuppressed too. The barrel is 4.5". I am not sure what the OAL is with the can on. I'd have to measure it later and get back to you. Bolt is a cmmg.

Re: 9mm SBR
I'd like to sbr my G40 frame and be able to use G40 and G41 upper on it and have 10mm and .45acp and even .40 covered. And then maybe a G34/17 frame and could use 9mm, .40, .357Sig uppers... So many options and only 2 stamps.ken6881 wrote:

Re: 9mm SBR
I ordered one it was the only thing I could find that met my criteria, of glock mags 5" barrel and reliability I was considering a sub2000 but it really wasn't short enough for what I wanted

It's gonna be so nice when you done. Thank you for answering my noob questions. I know ARs but never messed around or researched a blowback 9 version.shaggy1392 wrote:I am going with a 4.25" odin works rail that was discontinued. Re: 9mm SBR
I just measured it a 25.25" with the suppressor and the stock collapsed.
Here is a pic next to a 4.5" 22 for comparison. With a folding stock either of these would fit well in a back pack with the can already on.

Thanks bro. Good lucking out on OAL measurement. How long is ur can? (What's your birthday and social too!! Lol jk) sorry for all the ?'s just wanna do this once and have the parts all work.
How does it do with cheap federal 115gr - to 147/160gr subs? HPs no sweat? Any failures so far? I know it's a semi new build just curious. Do you switch buffers going from unsuppressed to suppressed hot HPs to cheap range ammo? Any limitations at all? We're probably gonna pump rounds outta this thing. We also are gonna sbr a mp15-22 sport if I ever get the $ and tuck our SiCo sparrow under the MLOK rail. Hopefully
Thanks again man. Good times with short 9s
