from what I am gathering its a WWI 1918 Erfurt 8mm Kar98 Mauser

Yep its a mauser, the small stamps are proof marks from factories or factory codes, the KAC 98 stamping will be the model. Any more stamps anywhere? Should be stamps on almost every metal part and under the bolt handle. Pics of the whole rifle?

Well I bought it without knowing anything but it being a 8mm mauser. Looking to sell it now, no idea why but I have zero interest in WWI firearms.
