Silver Creek is close...I need to try it out, I've been wanting to give idpa a shot. What would you recommend beyond a gun, holster, mags & holder, ammo and ppe?Dustin wrote:Where are you shooting at ?CCRBUM wrote:Picked up a Gen 4 17 and am happy with it for now. If I find that I really enjoy comp shooting and do a halfway decent job at it, I'll probably sell the setup and get an h&k
I have been doing IDPA at Wilmore and Silvercreek

Bring a lunch and water
Gun
3 mags
200 rounds of ammo
mag carrier
Concealment vest if you have it. You can use your shirt but is slower.
Eye and Ear protection
That's about it.

I'll be shooting here locally in northern ky in Crittenden at a club. We'll see how it goes and if it's going well I'll start branching out further. It's hard to get the time to drive too far right now.
