Any interest in a Suppressor Group Buy?
Just seeing if there is some interest in this...
Huntertown Arms
Guardian .22 -- $120.00 (need to have 10 in order to get this price)
Would take around 4 weeks after placing the order.
Local FFL here in Louisville will do the transfers, etc.
I can also get some pricing on other calibers and materials (Stainless Steel vs. Titanium, etc.)
You can check out their web site here: http://www.huntertownarms.com/

Group buy would be pretty complicated with a 6-10 month NFA wait added in

Maybe not if it was prepaid before actual pick up.ssracer wrote:Group buy would be pretty complicated with a 6-10 month NFA wait added in

Wouldn't be any more complicated than any other type of buy...
We can specify a timeframe for orders to be placed, and when the deadline is met, place the order ... When they come in, you pay for them just like any other, submit the paperwork, efile, etc.... and wait...
May be able to create an NFA 'wait support group' while we are waiting...
FFL is a small machine shop (Stamler Machine Co. Inc.) that I work part time for and they are Huntertown Arms Dealer.

Not at present, but if it would not require them revamping their present recordkeeping system and it would not be an 'invasion of privacy', then I don't see why it couldn't be done... I need to do a little more research on the efile system myself as it is new and there have been some discussions about the system giving way to a national gun registry... I am the IT department as it sits right now...Tyler wrote:adayton wrote:Wouldn't be any more complicated than any other type of buy...

I've seen people questioning the waiver for the eforms sight, but it's no different than other systems with an interface with government computers.adayton wrote:Not at present, but if it would not require them revamping their present recordkeeping system and it would not be an 'invasion of privacy', then I don't see why it couldn't be done... As for a registry, it already exists for NFA items and efiling doesn't involve standard firearms or their transfer.

I need to research that part of it before committing to it...
