First 22 rifle?
Remington 597 out of box is magazine fed and shoots more accurate than 10/22 for a lot cheaper as well. The 10 rd mags are even only $10 or the ballpark of $20-$25 I believe you can get the 30 rd rem mags and they work also which I have.

Re: First 22 rifle?
Mine needed an $18 Volquartzen extractor but Joes and two other guys that have them needed nothing. Still cheaper than a 10/22 and scoped to boot.jmeister wrote:what all did you have to replace to get that thing running properly?jackalo626 wrote:Remington 597 out of box is magazine fed and shoots more accurate than 10/22 for a lot cheaper as well.
