Re: 1st AR pistol
OH yeah!!
Are you building it or is it one of your many trades?
I just wondered what supplier the upper came from. I have looked at PSA's pistol uppers, I think they're FN also.

I have a Noveske QD backplate on it and run a single point sling (just a cheap $20 sling, nothing fancy)
Shoot with 2 hands..........Place cheek on receiver extension/buffer tube and fire away..........

Re: 1st AR pistol
As long as the gun is overall 26 inches long it's ok.....(believe it's 26 inches?)
Going to edit and put a disclaimer here:
I can't find the info we discussed a while back on the ATF's opinion on vert grips etc and overall length etc...so before anyone applies my comment to their build, please make sure it's correct!
As Coach stated below hand stops are different than vert grips.........
Just wanted to clear that up

I want to do one of these eventually. Looks like a lot of fun.

Re: 1st AR pistol
i love my ar pistol.
coach, get the miculek brake for the front. it is byfar the most obnoxious and effective brake you can buy. i still need to order one for my pistol. i have one on the carbine and it works flawlessly. it makes it a bit louder, but the way it directs the gases to the side makes it hard for anyone to shoot near you.
from my research as long as you can reach 26" from end of buffer tube to muzzle(if perm attached, or end of barrel it not perm attached) you can run a vertical grip. i am at 26.25" and i have a copy of the ATF letter to support this, so i am GTG.
