Don't know how to make the video work, but it's on the site.

$495 is the price.

Well that is pretty cool.
Interesting to see how they reset the trigger.
From the video I guess that flipping the safety back to full position
Set the trigger and there is some form of spring loaded reset.

The trigger is a type of a three/four trip set trigger is my guess.

Not much more than one of those fugly and cumbersome bump fire stocks and if it works well it will be a whole lot more useful.

I'd buy one of those before a bump fire stock.

Looks to me it uses a lever of some sort off the back of the trigger up against the safety.

Think paintball gun RT trigger.

I may be looking into this after they are released and some feedback starts flowing.

would require getting rid of the restricking nob or bump on the receiver to allow to swing all the way around

Don't know which lower you have... But on most the detent is the only thing from keeping the safety from flipping around.

Well I have Spikes, Century, ATI, Doublestar, Black Rain, and Rock RIver all within easy reach right now and they all have a lip/ledge/bump whatever you want to call it restricting that movement. Only my Sun Devil Milled lowers don't have a restricting piece.

Those don't stop you from flipping the safety around.

No clue if a FA bad ass would work with or not.

Either way a little grinding and I'd say you could run whatever you want.

Well FA selector would work, I guess, but I would not want to put any FA parts on a non FA lower.y

There's already a FA bolt carrier in most of them.

Which you stated would require "little grinding" , to make a FA selector work

It is all about intent and that is what matters.

Claude,

Thank you for your interest in Tac-Con™. The response to our revolutionary, new 3MR (3rd Mode Reset) trigger has been overwhelming and we appreciate your patience as we launch our new company. We issued a media press release on Tuesday and it made AR15.com some minutes later. Not to say that was a bad thing but we were not entirely prepared for the tremendous public response! We are ramping up production in anticipation of our official launch on December 1st!.
Note: We will begin accepting pre-orders at http://www.tacfirecon.com on or just after Saturday November 16th watch the web site for more information.

About the TAC-CON 3MR Trigger
The 3MR is a drop-in 3-mode fire control system with Safe, Semi-Automatic, and Tac-Con™'s patented 3rd Mode. The 3rd mode has a positive reset that dramatically reduces the split times between shots. The positive reset characteristic is achieved by transferring the force from the bolt carrier through the trigger assembly to assist the trigger back onto the front sear. As a result, this gives the firearm the fastest reset possible. Both semi and 3rd mode positions exhibit a non-adjustable 4.5 pound trigger pull weight. Why 4.5 pounds? Because most law enforcement agencies limit any trigger used for duty to 4.5 pounds and above. Extensive testing done by Tac-Con™, the ATF (BATFE), and professional shooters have proven that this is the fastest semi-automatic trigger in the world. The 3MR is ATF approved and is NOT a NFA part. Each trigger is accompanied by a copy of the ATF letter. This is not a bump fire system. The shooter must pull the trigger once for every round fired.
Additional information will be available at http://www.tacfirecon.com on December 1st.
Thank you for interest in TAC-CON!!

Mike Stakes,
President, Tac-Con™

Mike

As stated not a bump fire system.
But it sounds like a single lever set trigger with a mechanical reset.

I'm cool with sending controlled pairs down range, until I can afford a FA toy.

So WTF

"The positive reset characteristic is achieved by transferring the force from the bolt carrier through the trigger assembly to assist the trigger back onto the front sear." That makes me think that its using the bolt slaming home to trip the trigger again or to help you pull the trigger.
