Vintage Ammo Appraisal?

Post by Harb » Mon Sep 01, 2014 1:44 pm

I was given some old .410 ammunition a while back and I think it might be worth something. Not much, but something. Does anyone know a person who specializes in this kind of thing?

Here are some pics.

Cranky might be able to help, especially with shotgun related stuff. Vintage ammo & ammo boxes are kind of a niche market. I know of no one else who would have any idea whether it's worth something or not.

I don't know much about the value of any of these, but from what I hear they r much like comic books....the boxes being even slightly bent, cracked etc really determine value.

And it takes some pretty old and usually rare ammo to be worth much...

I remember buying that top box back in the 70s. Bottom box I've never seen.
