Anybody got a range report on the XDS?
I am looking at getting an XDS for my carry piece and wanted to see I anyone has a repor on them. Wondering about recoil and torque with it being a .45 with a 3.3 inch barrel. Or if someone local has one incould try out sometime that would be awesome ( im in Louisville). Anyway someone let me know what's up!

Is the M factor too much?
I don't care what the stats say, i want more ammo before a reload even tho, a reload is sooooo unliikely.

never shot a xds but most .45 I shoot seem more manageable than any .40's and 9mm. 40's are the worst. too snappy.

Ha yea. Just a little too bulky to carry in the warmer months. I'm not a fan of .40 either. I have only shot a hand full of .45 but all have been full sized and no issues with recoil for me.justang1997 wrote:Is the M factor too much?

I got to run a couple hundred rounds through one a couple weeks ago. For some reason the recoil seems to be controlled very well. Nice XD trigger, easy to wrap my hand around. I had no complaints really except for the grip safety. If you like the XD line go for it, I really cannot tell any difference between it and the G36, other than grip safety, magazine cost, holster and parts availability.
