Anything to expedite or ease the process is a step in the right direction. Bravo

Or they realize rights shouldn't require a permit.Tyler wrote:Wake me up when the change is lifetime permits or constitutional carry.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Re: Change in the CCDW process
Not sure who wrote this article, but the Concealed Carry class has never been "... as much as $100". Even with the new electronic application you still must have completed the training prior to the application (or be a person who does not need the training) so your permit can be issued.

Re: Change in the CCDW process
On the good news side, my new license was at my sheriff's office one week after I submitted my electronic renewal application.
Being able to upload a digital photo instead of being forced to submit a hardcopy passport was another convenience.
I agree we shouldn't have to do this, but making it less of a hassle is a small step in the right direction.
