Rat snakes are the good guys, they eat rodents. Keep him around and he will keep them away. I found a 6 ft snake skin from one on our front walk last week.......no mice to be seen lol.

Haven't any of you all watched the historical Looney Tunes documentaries as children? First go get some lipstick, I'm sure you have some on hand since your asking what to do with a snake. Second dress your dong up as a female snake, just as Bugs would do.

Third, lay over the drain and wiggle around making your junk do the snake version of the tango. Once that snake is overwhelmed with lust and starts making out with your girly stick, pull out and grab him by the neck. Too easy.

As long as they ain't in the garage or the house I don't mind them.
Most snakes are good snakes. Unless they scare the shit outta me.

Caught this one a few days ago. Let him go a little further away from the house. I'd sure rather have snakes around than mice.ImageImage

Does anybody know what kind it is?
Just seen one by the porch and the cats were trying to mess with it.
The lady folk were freaking out big time! They were both after me to kill it. (They have never been like that before.)
Was gonna post pictures of it here but seen it was the same as what Marcus put up.

Thanks!
I looked up the poisonous ones and what I found said there are only 4 kinds in this area. 2 versions of rattlesnake, Copperheads, and Water moccasins.

Does that sound right?

I figure it might be easier to learn the bad ones since they seem to be a smaller group. If it don't look like one of them then leave it alone no matter what the girls say.

That's pretty much correct.
