Re: What did you pick up today?
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

A VERY large snapping turtle...laying eggs. So I scooped up all 33 eggs for turtle egg omelets!
j/k.....I'm going to incubate them myself then release them back in the pond so they have a better survival rate. Snapping turtles are like dinosaurs, ad are really cool animals to me.

Very, very cool Mike. I have a pet snapping turtle named Soup. He crossed back and forth across a four lane highway three times in one day so I decided he must be suicidal and brought him home with me.

Re: What did you pick up today?
Picked up a new chainsaw after my old POS Poulan shit the bed a month out of warranty. Didn't even have a full gallon of gas through the Poulan, but this one will see quite a bit of use since I'm clearing some of the property.
On the subject of reptiles, found a black rat snake while clearing some brush in the yard. Sadly, no pics.

we had one with a shell almost the size of a dinner plate in our front yard a couple days ago. There is a pond in the neighborhood a street over, so we figured he waddled from over there. He had huge spikes on his tail- pretty cool. He wasn't too happy with me petting him though.

Re: What did you pick up today?
BCM gunfighter vertical for the Krinkov. Not sure if its going to get in the way of magazine changes but I thought what the heck I'll give it a try and if don't work I'll just cut it down. Should have my new krink tomorrow to give it a try (fingers crossed).
