There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Exactly. Nice job wasting new tooling for this. Sign me on as your business advisor and we will both be a lot better off.DDgunslinger wrote:.380... don't care, call me when the 9mm shows up.

Is it 380 in general you want to go away or the idea of a 380 Glock?

Re: Glock pocket 380?
Why is the availability of .380 the way it is? Not to mention the price tag on a box is out of this world.

Re: Glock pocket 380?
Haha no not you! Just not a 380 Glock. I am not interested in any but I can see how some like them. If you can carry a .380 then you can carry a 9mm. 9 is cheaper, more available, more powerful and in different load outs.WLJ wrote:Oh, I thought you meant me.jackalo626 wrote:380, yesWLJ wrote:Forever?jackalo626 wrote:Go away

Re: Glock pocket 380?
Already talks of a 9mm conversion coming soon.

Re: Glock pocket 380?
For some reason I've read plenty of people saying they wish they could get the 380 glocks. Now one is available and nobody cares. Even a pocket 9mm not sure it's the best platform to build from

Well, for one it's not THAT small. It's way bigger than it needs to be for a .380.Toddinlou wrote:For some reason I've read plenty of people saying they wish they could get the 380 glocks. Now one is available and nobody cares. Even a pocket 9mm not sure it's the best platform to build from

Re: Glock pocket 380?
It's says Glock on the slide, they're sell a ton of them. Anyway I'm thinking a lot of women may buy it who want something a little softer shooting than 9x19. and I would imagine the spring will be weaker making it easier for them to rack the slide.

Exactly why I lack any interest. Unless it can outperform my PPK, why?Marcus wrote:Well, for one it's not THAT small. I've yet to have a single female under my instruction...WLJ wrote:It's says Glock on the slide, they're sell a ton of them. 1. Not love the G19 (9mm)
2. Not be able to rack the slide after proper methods were taught.
3. Not realize they are fully capable of shooting something more than a .22 or a bullshit .38 revolver... or in this case a .380
Most women's fear of recoil is superficial and spurred on by their male counter part. Anyway, that's a whole different topic, so back to the one at hand.

Fail enough I've taught a few myself and most just need proper instruction.DDgunslinger wrote:I've yet to have a single female under my instruction...WLJ wrote:It's says Glock on the slide, they're sell a ton of them. But I would bet the typical women under your instruction is but a small percentage of the ones walking into a gun shop maybe for the first time.

Re: Glock pocket 380?
Exactly why we need to see more women at the range training. I just have to teach a small percentage that can then teach a larger percentage and so on and so forth.WLJ wrote:Fail enough I've taught a few myself and most just need proper instruction.DDgunslinger wrote:I've yet to have a single female under my instruction...WLJ wrote:It's says Glock on the slide, they're sell a ton of them. I hate that women get suckered into buying .22s, .25s, .380, and .38s. Especially by a bullshit salesman at a gun shop. We had two older ladies that attended one of our CCDW courses that were fooled into buying revolvers they didn't need. Then hated to shoot as well cause it hurt there hands with +p HD loads.
Anyway, sorry I'm in a ranting mood this morning... not enough coffee yet I guess.

Angie would be interested in participating in a womens class if you all chose to do one. I am sure some of her friends would be willing to take the class as wellDDgunslinger wrote:Exactly why we need to see more women at the range training.
