Dremel input
Well last night my old black n decker corded "Dremel" took a dump. I'm thinking one of those cordless setups would be sweet, anybody have have any issues with the Dremel 4.8 or 7.2 volt ones? The 12 volt would be nice, but the price puts it out of my budget.

I have corded and cordless. Cordless runs out of power of course and has to be recharged and usually at the most inopportune times. I like the variable setting on the corded one I have, lots of variation in speed. The cordless ones I have had problems with the battery staying in the charger or in the plug when hanging from a wall. Gets loose over time and looses ability to make the connection or stay in the plug. I also have a couple of the different cordless ones and one charger does not fit all for the models I have.
I usually buy them in pawn shops for 20 bucks, I am not paying 129 dollars for one. I just bought one in Oklahoma pawn shop when I was out there.

Bought the big-daddy kit (D3000-XX or something like that) two years ago and it's still going strong after heavy use. Cordless don't hold up for heavy use.
Oh, how so high they fly........ only further to fall.

Ok thanks everybody. I always forget about pawn shops, I'll have to stop by a few and see what I can pick up.

Same as everyone else, corded Dremel. I have a Dremel 300, which I believe was replaced by the 3000.

Re: Dremel input
Need new dremel. Had a ryobi for years. Has been good but I've mocked it off the work bench a few to many times and it's got a short in it.

Re: Dremel input
I looked all over craigslist tonight and all I saw was things way to far to travel for a $30 tool. Maybe somebody will get hard up for cash and post one soon.
