I made a zippo holder

Post by justang1997 » Wed Dec 18, 2013 11:09 pm

I don't wear the 550 cord bracelets so this is handy to have some 550 cord on my person (12 feet) and nice to snag my zippo out of my pocket quickly.

Pretty creative. Reminded me to go find my zippo. Ran out of flint and laid it down somewhere in the bedroom never to be seen again.
A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".

I put spare flints in the bottom of the zippo body. Just gotta be careful you don't spill them out when you pull out the insert to add fluid.

I usually do too. Just happened to use my last one while away from home and forgot to grab more. Found my zippo though.

Been carrying a zippo for a year or so now. Never thought about putting the flints inside. Friggin genius, I say.

I like zippo lighters for a number of reasons. At the end of the day I really just like learning to do zippo tricks. Best ever is removing the flame by hand then throwing the flame back on to the wick.

See if this link works. Not my video but it's got a good clear view.

Yep. My favorite trick too. I don't smoke but I carry the zippo daily. Been meaning to find a small rubber band to fit around the lid seam to keep the fluid from slowly evaporating. I fill mine weekly and rarely ever even light it.
