Use Your iPhone As A RifleScope? There's an app for that

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

If this mounted behind a "real" scope for recording purposes that would be kind of cool/useful.

I've seen mounts they make for regular cameras....one for a smart phone would be nice...not for mall ninja use, but recording a hunt etc....

I have a Contour camera that mounts to a picatinny rail. Fun to play with and much smaller than that monsity LOL. I don't use it much, though.

Eotech with 3x swingaway magnifier are on it all the time and quite useful.

Aye but it doesn't refer to all iPhone owners. You'll get over it.

Have u tried to mount it behind a scope....

Meaning if u had scope on 10x zoom the camera would video intended target?

That's what I want a mount for.....so I could video shooting targets at long distances etc...

There is actually a mount to attach an iPhone to a scope. Seen it on one of the hunting channels couple days ago. It's called the iscope. Kind of pricey at 100.00, but a cool concept for videoing a hunt

This isn't just for shooting video, this actually uses the i-phone as your heads up aiming scope. It's not the first to use a camera for this purpose but, as far as I know, the first to use something many people already have, their i-phone.
