Prescription shooting glasses
Anybody here wear prescription shooting glasses and if so where did you get them. I have looked online but there are many choices. If not best place to go then at least which place or brand to avoid. Prices etc...

Re: Prescription shooting glasses
Contacts will be way mo better and consistent. its my understanding that as glasses slide down your nose the prescription changes due to the curve of the lens you are looking through changing.

Re: Prescription shooting glasses
Contact lenses are not even an option imo. They fall out easily and irritate eyes plus require maintenance when glasses are more durable, easy. and protect all in one. I want maybe Wiley X or ESS, Oakley maybe for my first pair. Still deciding.justang1997 wrote:Contacts will be way mo better and consistent. its my understanding that as glasses slide down your nose the prescription changes due to the curve of the lens you are looking through changing.
Prescription shooting glasses
ESS ICE and separate Rx insert. Available at Optics Planet and other places. Should cost you about $90 plus whatever it costs to get the lenses to match your prescription. I'll let you know how it goes as I am in the process of going this route.

Re: Prescription shooting glasses
I personally hate inserts. Debris/water/sweat gets between them, they can fog up, and they just make my head hurt. Try them before you drop your coin on them.
