What have you guys used for your pistol/rifle mags in the past that you would not hesitate to recommend to someone else?

For pistol magazines, the Maglula UpLULA can't be beat.

Never saw the need for an aid to loading AR magazines.

I bought one of these magula loaders when I had my fnx-9. The mags were so hard to load. Ever since I sold it, I haven't needed it. I left it at a friends farm. Never went back for it. Regardless, these loaders work really well. It sure beats a sore thumb.

If you do any decent volume of shooting or even for occasional loading of mags the Uplula can't be beat. It loads so fast and easy. During shooting courses you have to have certain amounts of ammo specific for each task and the unloader function on them is a huge bonus in ease and speed.

While loading an AR mag is easy enough, those uplula loaders make unloading at mags a lot quicker and easier
