Note to self, bring a chest rig to rwi shoots is a good idea. Leaving it at home is a bad idea.

I'm cheap and I mean cheap. ACU digital gear can be found nearly everywhere. If it doesn't come in the "correct" color or camo, RIT dye takes care of that fast. You'd be surprised what some black dye flung from the fingers can do.
