17 HMR & HM2

anyone a fan of these? I have always liked the HMR but up until about 18 months ago when I found out about the HM2. now i rarely pick up any other rimfire. i consider it to be the better round out to 100 yards

I have a Marlin 717M2 carbine (17Mach2) and love it. I can get ammo for $7/box instead of $14/box for 17HMR. The Mach 2 goes 2150 fps compared to 2550 fps for the HMR. Uses the same 17 grain polymer -tipped bullet. My carbine is semi-auto, which is unsafe for HMR.
Cutting grass is the price I gladly pay for not being cold.

I have a couple of converted 10/22's that I really enjoy. I also have 77/22's in both calibers. I shot more 17 HM2 than NMR by a long shot.
