Re: Taxing the rich does not work

First, I wholeheartedly agree that increased taxation isn't the answer to our deficit disaster. But these figures are presented in a deceptive manner. It argues both that increasing taxes on the richest Americans would contribute little to our coffers while at the same time arguing that these same A...

Re: What did you pick up today?

I'm not hating, either. In fact, I bought one of those for my son two weeks ago.

Feels great in the hand, sights are excellent, and it shoots to POA.

Trigger is...not so great. I'm sticking with Glocks myself.

Two points:

Re: What did you pick up today?

Didn't exactly pick it up, but I ordered a SIRT pistol today. For those who aren't familiar: http://nextleveltraining.com/ I've wanted one for months, but I couldn't justify paying $350+ for one. I learned yesterday they're fielding a new, less expensive model with a plastic vs. metal slide, so I ga...

Re: Response to "why would you not want a safety?"

...I have never even fired a Glock and neither has he, but what would you tell him? I'd tell him revolvers don't have thumb safeties either. Safeties, IMHO, provide a false sense of security, and in the case of some pistols (my old M9, for example) they don't always stay where're they're put. They ...

Re: heavy buffer

I don't think adding mass will solve the problem. I'm betting it would make it worse. The Plum Crazy lower had a standard carbine buffer and *very* snug upper/lower fit. What (other than mil spec vs commercial tube, which is irrelevant) is different with your current setup? The first thing I'd try w...

I have ZERO problems with anyone holding ANY politician accountable for their misdeeds, but if we're going to fix our problems we the voters have to stop being tools for the big two parties by spreading their lies and propaganda. I didn't know which if any of the items in this list ...

TacSol makes them for the 17 and 19. Whittakers has both in stock at the moment (or did last week, at least). Advantage Arms makes them for all three sizes. I did not know this. Thanks for the info!!
