Re: Today Was A Good Day!

Was feeling extra stressed yesterday and this morning, decided to hit range usa with a 16” barrel M1A today. Man I have tried so many stocks and optics and aftermarket parts on these things and I think this rifle is as close to my idea of M1A perfection as there is. A slew of SEI parts in a syntheti...

Re: M1 garand issue?

Am I supposed to use my left hand pinky, my big toe? We may never know. My thumb maybe, I dont see what Im yanking on it with making a difference on hitting the disconnect spot on the receiver. Really wish he would have explained instead of just saying im the issue and fucking back off.

Re: M1 garand issue?

Well. Not very happy with the way this has gone. Anyone want to tell me the proper technique for how you pull back on the oprod to operate the rifle? I am being told if Im using my index finger Im doing it wrong and im part of the problem as in Im pulling it into the disengage position on the receiv...

Re: Variations in 10mm

I put a really ugly obnoxious $15 brake on mine along with some hockey goon tape on the grip, I keep it classy.

Its been worth the price for the laughs and looks at the range alone. Just the infuriated look on the kids face at the gun store while trying to talk me out if it was priceless.

Re: Variations in 10mm

Range report: the only other 10mm I own is the hi-point jxp10 I bought as a joke. It would not run the Aguila either. Ive got about 3.5 boxes that any red name or above forum member can have free if they want to make the drive to shep. Bob has dibs if he see’s this just because he is so close by, ha...

Re: Where to go to get some wheels painted??

Quickest couple of pics I could find. They didnt even complain about the super tight weave and many layers of god knows what on the two piece wheels, they only did the centers on those.

Re: Where to go to get some wheels painted??

It really depends on how much prep they need, metal flake or not, clear coat and what color, like they have house blacks and silvers and white they use a lot and buy in bulk cheap. But if they need to special order something it will cost you. I think the cheapest set I did was $400, most expensive w...

Re: Where to go to get some wheels painted??

Re: Variations in 10mm

Aguila was like that too, didnt stand as tall, and they both press into the cylinder with a fairly light touch. But there is obvious resistance compared to the blazer. I say there is obvious variation in the OD of these rounds but nothing wrong with them, I mean my super classy hi-point jxp10 runs e...

Re: Variations in 10mm

I do believe in the case of the aguila, that shitty brass could have been the issue but take a look at this: Ammo inc on the left and Blazer on the right, no pressure, just dropped in there. Obvious variation in outer diameter. I did order a box of S&B today along with more blazer. I plan on grabbin...

Re: Variations in 10mm

Wasnt saying it was the same, just that you reminded me I had purchased another type to try. Being a guy who shoots several times a week I usually only ever look hard at the range type ammo, havent really gotten into the finer points of ammo yet. Im forever going to be a noob. The amount of info and...

Now you got me looking at 9mm revolvers again.
Ive got a cheap 10mm to sell ya!!!

JK, Im actually enjoying this thing besides all the science experiment ammo/moon ring combos at the range the first times out. A noticeable bit more snap than 357 in the same frame but still plenty enjoyable.

Re: Variations in 10mm

Well it seems pretty much any review you watch by a professional or posted by an amateur on a forum mentions having issues with at least one type of ammo, and that not being a hassle to them. Heck a lot of guns run great with this but maybe not that. I think mine is fine and Im just unlucky enough t...

Re: Variations in 10mm

Ive tried 3 different kinds of moon clips and tried various ammo in them.(the s&w that came with it, tk customs which are engraved 610 and 10mm, and some generic brand off optics planet). Ive also tried without the moon clips. If I get an issue with the clip, I get the same issue without the clip. T...

Variations in 10mm

Ammo question for you all. Last week I purchased a smith and wesson model 610-3 which is a 10mm revolver. Obviously this is intended to be an auto cartridge. Im quickly finding out there is some wild variation in 10mm, three of the four ammos I have tried would not work. Aguila would drop right into...
