Re: Active shooter(s) in San Bernardino

Re: Rock Island 1911 45 acp full size
It is very rare to meet gun owners who dont egg you on to buy more things gun related. The only exception being a crap item, theyll tell you not to buy but then refer you to a different better item to buy. You guys are so bad!Marcus wrote:Do it so I stop being tempted.Tomahawk wrote:I am half tempted

Re: Remote start recommendations

They answered all the questions I had over the phone and those answers were the exact same when I talked to them in person. I got her a Viper system with remote start and door ...

Would I be better off buying a stripped lower and assembling or buying a full lower and disassembling the selector switch and mag release?

Re: Shooting low with trijicon HD novak
By the sounds of the email they are questioning if the sights may be a fake. The not being stamped part. Is this a possibility? Yea I asked them if any they sold had no markings. They all have markings. Talked to the guy I bought it from and he said he bought it from.Glock.eister. He hasnt been act...

Email response Thank you for your patronage of Trijicon products! By design, our HD sights are taller, which CAN have a small effect on POA/POI. Frequently, we will address these corrections at no additional charge to the customer by having you send the slide with detailed information to change to a...

Re: Shooting low with trijicon HD novak
I haven't shot it further, I only had 50 rounds that day as I expected to simply pick up the gun, shoot it and leave. I ended up leaving quite frustrated. I think Louisville Armory Indoor range goes to 25 yards at the furthest, I'll try it there when I go next weekend. This kinda makes me wonder, w...

Re: Shooting low with trijicon HD novak
I think you'd need something a little more precise to tell the difference. That's what I was getting at... :D I figured that out once I started measuring. How about you ask the shop/guy who installed the sights. They should have a caliper to measure with. I will this weekend when I go back in. I al...

I think you'd need something a little more precise to tell the difference. You are absolutely right. I am figuring this out. Also the hardest part is not only getting precise measurements bu converting it to damn decimal. I forgot how many lines are in an inch not to mention how to read one other t...

Re: Shooting low with trijicon HD novak
if i'm not mistaken, there is something called the internet which hosts a website listing all the specs. Then there is a tape measure I will use to verify the specs.Niceguy wrote:Do you have a way to measure the height of each and know the specs of what they should be?

Re: Shooting low with trijicon HD novak
Nevermind on markings, that only determines other things.
I did look into model number and under 1911 in Trijicon it states CA1280 which is supposedly what I got! I guess ill turn to measurements to see if the parts are what I was supposed to get.
