-Remington 870 Field Special in 12ga. This is an uncommon if not rare bird. It isn't the 20ga, which is the most desirable, but it is nothing to be scoffed at. Straight English Stock, shortened magazine tube and a 21" removable choke barrel with full rib vent. Not perfect, but in good shape. Great h...

My first car was an `82 Notch. I still have a weak spot for them. One day I will own another. Too many projects now though.

Bump for a GREAT GUN. I have been using one of these as a beat around/home defense shotgun for thirty years. I consider mine a family heirloom. If I had to pick one gun for the rest of my life, this would be it. Yeah, I like mine that much. There is a reason that these don't come on the market that ...

Is that one of the awd celica? If so you own a unicorn. Celica Alltracs aren't that hard to find if you know where to look. I have an old Small Ring Spanish Mauser (1916 Civil Guardia) in 7.62 NATO that I might be tempted to rehome, what kind of trades have you got?

I was in Cabelas today and they were pretty much topped off.
~100 bricks of .22LR in various flavors. Prices where they should have been.
I bought a brick. Just because.
I reckon the sky isn't falling.

I am tickled pink to be the exception to the rule it seems. I bought my `13 Mustang from Oxmoor and they treated me rather well. As for test driving it... Well, you are talking about a high performance car with serious collector value. The lower the miles, the more valuable. With something akin to t...

Re: Mustangs are the official KAC ride
The `69 is the fourth favorite year for a Mustang. `70. Something about the line of the `70 FB does it for me, the way the nose comes up and the little vents come off of the fenders. Best year Mustang ever IMO. Plus, as shared with the `69, was the only year models the fabled Boss 429 were available...

I still have the plate that was on my truck when I parked it, but it has farm tags. What would it take to make her street legal again? Just pay the registration? The plate is the sticky issue, I have a vanity plate and I don't want to lose it. If she has to remain insured to registered, I guess I could keep her on, she is only like $20 a month, I just don't see a reason to pay that $20 if I am not driving her. When I stroll down to the DMV to turn in my deal...

Registration Question...
So my daily driver is thankfully back to project status with the acquisition of a new daily driver. This leads to some questions. Her motor popped, so she won't be going anywhere on her own for a while, so I dropped her from my insurance. Do I need to report this to the DMV? I know I will still have...

Good read. It is interesting, I had a discussion with my six year old after the Newtown Tragedy. check with your local store. It seems like a lot of them are offering classes now. Shooters Roost has a class Jan 16th. If that's not soon enough, you should be able to find a list of instructors through google. It would have only made sense that since they have all the tables, they offered the cla...

Where to go for the class?
I live in Shelbyville.
My wife has asked me this weekend to take her shooting, buy her a gun, and she wants her CCDW Permit.
I moved here from Tennessee almost a year ago, and while I have found a marvelous LGS, I have yet to find someplace that offers the class.
Suggestions?
