WTS savage 110FP 308 with scope (NKY area)
OK! my goal with the rifle was to turn it into a long range project. I ordered a choate tactical stock for it and they sent me a sniper stock so it went back. After looking at a couple of chassis I discovered I could get a chassis for around the same price as the choate stock and CDI bottom metal and I like the chassis rout more. What I also discovered is unless I go to a 30-06 or 300 win mag I cant drop my long action savage into a chassis. This has caused me to re-examine my project. After a little run and keyboard pounding I decided to scrub the savage project and go back to a tikka or a 700 sps tactical. SOOOOOOO...
Rifle is an older 90's savage 110FP 308. 24" heavy barrel. Shoots well enough and is nice and heavy lol. Scope is a vortex diamondback 4-12. rifle cycles fine and I've been able to get decent groups out of it. It likes the heavy stuff and GMM 168 seems to do well in it. looking for $650 OBO for the whole shebang and it even includes a sweet tactical bipod! The scope rings are savage factory rings as best I can tell. scope holds zero just fine. I've put maybe 50 or 60 rounds through it since I got it. I'm not looking for trades at this time.. just cash money. Thanks for looking!

I don't want to do this BUT I'll do a price drop to $475 for the rifle, scope and bipod through saturday. after that I'm gonna pull it down. Found what I want so I need to get this sold even if I take a little bit of a hit.

It's a great deal on a great rifle! If I didn't already have 5 .308 rifles, I be on this like a fat kid on ice cream!
Don't let the price spook you, these are great, budget priced rifles with excellent upgrade parts available, but necessary only if you want them.
This is no cheap, throw away rifle. Like any other, they'll last several life times if properly cared for.
Crush, kill, mangle, maim, destroy.
