New Style Stamps

Post by scorpionmain » Sat Apr 28, 2012 3:06 am

No more of the ancient lick and stick. The stamps they are using now are just like real postage stamps in circulation today. The peel and stick style.

Maybe in 15 or 20 more years they will start using computers, LOL.

Just noticed.
It says Department of Justice where it used to say Department of Internal Revenue.

I have yet to get my first stamp. But I'm working on joining the stamp collectors club. :)

If all goes according to the current trend, my latest should arrive the middle of May. Already have the next one in que, a Huntertown Arms Kestrel .22. The paperwork should go in very soon.

So far, all indications are it's still holding around 6 months, though there have been reports that the wait times are slowly increasing.

Livewire, I got two stamps in the past two years. One took 9 months and the other took 10.
