My 22/45. Accurate, reliable, easy to shoot, and with the grip mod it feels just like a light 1911

I chose the Browning because the Ruger is a PITA to clean.

ruger mk3 hands down. By far the most enjoyable handgun i own due to the cost of shooting it and teaching my kids about pistol shooting.

S&W model 17-8. Accurate 10 shot and not as sensitive to ammo. Good practice for larger S&W revolvers.

Buckmark - reliable, comfortable and accurate as hell
Still haven't found a Ruger that felt good in my hand, the P22 feels like a toy & is about as accurate and I don't have a 22 revolver without a 12lb DA pull. Don't own any of the others.

Picked the MK II. After 30 years of shooting one, it's as natural as breathing for me. I'd take my S&W 17 (K-22 Masterpiece) as a back up.

Colt's S70 with .22 conversion unit. I choose this because I can shoot it as accurately as my buddy with his Ruger and Browning, and I don't have to make pew pew Star Wars sounds when firing it. Good trigger, and its the pinnacle of pistol engineering.

Of the above I own a Ruger MkII, a Walther P22, a S&W model 53 with the LR cylinder and a S&W 617 10 shot revolver. I also have a Ruger single six i bought off DOSS but haven't shot it yet - Reverend Dreed has it for me (hope you are enjoying it Rev! I need a range report!)

If i had to choose only one, it would be the 617. I still have 10 shots same as the semi-autos, with the 6" barrell it's very accurate, can be shot double or single action, the trigger is very, very nice either way, and as has been stated it's great for working on your trigger pull on larger calibers. (Here comes the standared Vivi statement, stand by:) Remember, nothing keeps your trigger pull honest like a revolver.

Oh, and an added bonus is no brass to pick up, it dumps out in nice little piles!
