EDC Knife
Looking for a good EDC knife. Prefer a folder for pocket carry, assisted open or wave feature or something similar. Also dont want to break the bank as it just gets used for whatever the hell i need a knife for on the daily. Give me some recommendations please!

Re: EDC Knife
You didn’t say what your budget is so your bank and mine might break at different points but this is what I carry every day right now.
The bug out is lightweight, razor sharp and pretty affordable.
The adamas is a beast. It’s heavy and thick (like me). It’s a little spendy but well worth it. I need to send it in to be sharpened, but I use it for cutting rope and stuff all the time since it’s serrated.
The leatherman has a surprisingly good knife on it, but the whole thing is really heavy and I use the pliers more than the knife.
The infidel isn’t cheap but it’s for stabby tasks and wouldn’t be used for utility work.
I literally took them all out of my pockets to take the picture.

Re: EDC Knife
Budget is probably under $300. So your recommendations seem to fall in line with that. Adamas looks nice. Not a leatherman fan, too bulky. Not an OTF fan mostly because i am just used to a folder.

My everyday carry :

Actually paid about $180 when Spyderco had their "blem" sale.
I never found a bad spot on it.

Re: EDC Knife
I've been carrying a cheap ka-bar jarosz knife for a couple years. No issues and $25 if I lose it or break it.

Re: EDC Knife
I've carried this Benchmade for a few years. It gets pretty abused and I have no complaints. I cut paper, tape, rubber hoses and wire almost daily. I use it for a pry bar, screwdriver and pick more than I should also...haha

Re: EDC Knife
My ONLY complaint about this, would be it's a little slick. Not terrible, but a little bit more smooth than I'd like.

Re: EDC Knife
These are my cheap OTF knives.
The one on the top is my EDC.
The bottom one is a desk tool/letter opener.

I’ve bought a ton of folding knives in my life, but after Spyderco released the Paramilitary 2 my knife search was over.
I did buy a Para 3 lightweight that’s nice if you want a smaller version.

Re: EDC Knife
I carried my Spyderco Delica 4 for years. I finally switched to Benchmade when I had the need to keep my knife on the left side pocket. The Spidey hole rocks with my right hand. With my left I just can't get the hang of it. Spyderco stuff is legit!!

My CF Mini Bugout is my favorite knife I've ever owned. Can't imagine ever changing(Of course I used to say that of the Delica 4)BIGC wrote: ↑Tue Oct 31, 2023 4:07 pmI had a spyderco for a few years, it wasnt as smooth as my 0350..
