RFI: Cougar Magnum by Martin compound bow

Post by Whootsinator » Fri Aug 29, 2014 4:42 pm

I bought this five or six years ago thinking I wanted to get into archery. It has sat in my closet since then. Today I know as much about archery as I did then... nada. It's in good working condition as far as I can tell, but I'm not a bow guy. I think it'll need a new string, and I'm pretty sure the sights aren't supposed to be bent like this. Can anyone tell me anything about it, or what I might be able to get out of it?

50 bux is 50 bux. You want to take it, I'll take the bow & fix it up. If you want, I can teach you how to shoot it, too.

ETA: $50 appears to be a pretty decent price for an 80's era bow, based on what I can find out about it.

It's yours. I'm not sure when exactly I can meet up with you, but I can swing through Louisville after a drill weekend if it works.
