Very rare for an AR barrel to out of spec when it comes to headspacing Not saying it doesn't happen it's just rare since AR barrels are headspaced at the barrel extension which is installed, headspaced, and pinned in place at the factory on the vast majority of AR barrels. But it does happen from time to time.
More common than barrels being out of spec is out of spec bolts.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.
