looking for a 5.56 16" stainless 1:7 twist mid-length threaded barrel that will allow a FSB to be pinned in the rifle position. M4 barrel extension would be nice too. Thank you in advance for any information.

Model 1 actually has the barrel in a 1/8 twist. There barrels are actually pretty good being ER shaw , 1/8 should handle anything you can fit in the mag. Its carbine gas though, but I mean you are looking for a rare bird.

Also why stainless? With Iron sights your not going to notice the slight edge that the stainless has but you will have a bit less barrel life.

PSA has a sale on the whole upper right now, but again, not stainless.

Get on DC Machine's website. They churn out a large amount of the barrels sold by aftermarket dealers. Find the part number/specs for the configuration you want, copy-paste and Google that... I find barrels people can't find otherwise this way.
Palmetto's barrels that aren't FN chf are DC machine, including their stainless dissapators...
I have 2 dcm barrels, one stainless match and one melonite finish, have built many more- they are top notch.

SOL thanks for the post. Palmetto State actually does have a stainless upper in stock for $220. I have everything but a barrel to put an upper together but for $235 delivered it would be hard to pass up. I'm not looking to shoot bug holes. Just want sub paper place accuracy at 200 yards.

Kokopelli thank you too. I'll check out DC Machine.

I have a Savage sbr action that this barrel may end up on. That's why I was thinking 1 in 7" twist and mid length gas allows for some barrel contouring.

As SoL sort of mentioned, I don't think the stainless juice is worth the squeeze. Given your goals I believe a quality chrome lined, carbon steel barrel would be the best choice.
