first time cutting down A2 sight

Got to mess around with it today at work. Going from a 9" rail to a 15", figured I would try and cut it down instead of buying another gas block. I don't think it turned out half bad.

Looks good. Seems like it will work just fine under a FF rail.

I had some help on the finer detail from the machinist at work, nice to have access to good tools lol

well SSGBPowell i ended up not liking it at all LOL, threw my old stuff back on and im going to put a front sight on it and be done, saving all the stuff i bought for this 20" rifle im building..... didnt turn out at all like i had hoped..
