Light weight AR rifle
New lightweight AR build. It is a Tennessee Arms Polymer lower, Anderson Arms LPG, Lightweight upper, 16 inch pencil profile barrel with m16a1 flash hider (for now) a light weight narrow profile 15 inch key mod rail, UTG Bi-pod and Magpul flip up sights. The stock is a Blackhawk 6 position for now. I want something a little more solid on it in the future.
I wanted the look of a full length rail set-up but in a very light weight package. It is not as fat as a standard quad rail. It is much more comfortable for my smaller hands. The key mod locking system is very solid. I have to pick up a keymod QD sling mount to get a sling rigged and a good scope for it and the time to go shoot it.

I was only going to build one...

Very cool looking build. Do you have a weight on it?
It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters. - Daniel WebsterMexican Kerry wrote:Except for Viv. I just weighed it. She is 6 pounds even, without the bi-pod. I could have saved a few ounces by going with a carbon fiber tube but I did not like the look.Vividia wrote:Very cool looking build. Do you have a weight on it?
