And it's back up and reworded.

Franklin Armory Reformation: It’s a Smoothbore 5.56. Maybe.
http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2018/0 ... bore-5-56/
Do to some confusion, and ongoing confusion, we removed the original post and have reposted the post post-haste. I had the chance to shoot the Franklin Armory Reformation today. I snuck a peak down the barrel and didn’t see any rifling. For less information click here. We will know for sure tomorrow.

This whole thing has been a train wreck. I don’t think it will end up having the results for FA they want it to.

Fin-stabilized Ammo
So how is this non-SBR not an SBR?

Good question. According to the numbers and letters below, the Reformation isn’t a rifle, because the bore isn’t rifled.
Its 11.5″ barrel has lands and groves cut straight down the bore.
Well, according to the Franklin rep they are achieving 4 MOA with off-the-shelf ammo, so it’s minute of bad guy. They are releasing fin-stabilized projectiles that, from their testing, have produced near MOA accuracy.

Not impressed. a pistol with a brace is a better option. I will but some of their nerf ammo though, mainly because I am curious how it will do out of my rifled barrel.

For most of us, if we want a SBR, we just get the stamp. But there are Commie states that collude with Russia where you can’t have a SBR. It might sell there.

I’d rather have a pistol with a brace than this thing.
