I've asked some ridiculous high prices on ammo in the past as well. I've sold some and not sold more. The market will determine what it's worth.

Anyways, give the new guy a break.
It's a little different. I've seen you sell at absolute bullshit prices, but you haven't done it on this board. Do what you want on kyclassifieds and the arfcom EE, keep it out of here please.

I am not posting this to make a large amount of $$... I was asking because... I have a lead on some ammo that I can get around 30 cents a round..

So what are you telling us?? You post in one response that you can buy it for approx. 30 cpr, then post later that you can get it for less than 50 cpr. Yes I know that 30 is less than 50.

Personally I have a hard time paying more than 35 cpr but may have to change that thinking for the next few months or so.

I couldn't give a furry rats ass how you spend your money, but if you are fishing for customers this is a crude method of doing so. If your intent is to sell it here then to first post asking "what's a good buy-in price so I can resell and make money?", well, I think the others have covered most of the opinions on that.

Now if you truly have a lead at a reasonable price per round, and it is quality ammunition, an idea is to offer a group buy.

BK, I am trying to get in contact with the gentleman that I spoke to last nite about the ammo. I sent him an email asking if we (KAC) were to get enough people interested, could he do a group buy for about 10K rds.

So, who is interested?

Is anyone on here from the Dry Ridge area? I need a contact up there...

I had/have no intentions on trying to resell any of this! I was just wondering if the price was fair enough.. And, from what he said, I (we) can get it for around 19 cents per round.

BRASS and it is NEW Ammo..

This is exactly what he sent me last night:

"No its new. I'm getting it a little cheaper than 19 but make a small profit. The shops are killing the consumer as distributors are still selling it as cheap as always. The recent "gun rush" is just an opportunity for dealers to jack up prices. Those 2500-3000 dollar rock rivers and bushmasters can be bought new for 700-850 range. The dealers are just murdering the public due to supply and demand. I will post you wen it gets here."

I am going to try and make a mends right here... Someone that has the funds available and would guarantee me the opportunity to purchase at least 3K rds of this, contact me via pm, and I will give you the gentlemens email address. You can take care of the transaction, then offer it up to the members only! I repeat, KAC members only!

Here is what I know so far.. He said that he has 50K rounds that will be delivered on Monday or Tuesday. He lives in Dry Ridge.. Any takers? It will need to be someone that is available those days and is willing to meet him face to face for the transaction..

LMK..

I have the funds....I am just a little leery. Sounds too good to be true....... This guy could sell 50,000 rnds in an hour at $0.30 and buyers would think it was a good deal. Why only $0.19?

DBH has agreed to take the lead on this matter. I would suggest getting with him and letting him know how many rounds you would like. I have already put in my order for 3K rds and KAC member "NEXT" wants 3K rds.

Thanks guys.. I hope it works out for all of us..

I would be in for 2 or 3K if it is brass cased, boxer primed, at least 55gn and loaded by a licensed entity (not reloaded in somebody's basement which would be illegal of course)

In one of the emails that he sent me he stated this:

"All ammo sold. First guy took the whole lot. Ammo is 19cents a round accross the board. Wolf brass. Will not ship . face to face only so noone gets BURNT. I have another load of 50,000 rounds in transit. Will have on Monday or Tuesday. Will put an ad up again when it arrives. Tons of emails thus far so watch for the new ad"

I asked all those questions in my email to him. Waiting on a reply. Also assured him that if we made a deal, I would not make $0.01 off of it and gave him a link to KAC.

Wolf sells, not makes, brass ammo under the name Wolf Gold, it is actually made by Prvi-Partizan in Serbia.

Note: Wolf doesn't make the steel stuff either, that is made by various Russian companies and imported by Wolf under the Wolf name.

If it's the prvi-partizan brass, its good stuff. I have been impressed by the prvi-partizan ammo I have shot, and the brass has been reloadable so i saved it.
