Post by justang1997 » Thu Feb 14, 2013 9:40 pm

I'm making them as I type. Any requests? I have bb's in light wax, bb's in medium wax, bb's topped with pellets.
I'm getting ready to do some pellets only.

I need a 12g reloader. I can get the perfect media at work to make a scary round.....glass powder......no not sand....its the dust that comes from the machines that cut the glass....its more like tiny long flat shards......

You bring up a good point but online says crayons are very hard wax. Some people do this with hot glue.

I can help with the mix design to help get ultimate strength but I think that would be hard on the barrel.

I don't think you'll get the desired or expected results from the pellets, but I'm interested to see regardless.

Hard projectiles should always be sub caliber.
Lead deforms, as does wax else pressure spikes will strain breech bolt lug/ race.

The hardest hit part would be on a gun with choke
Riot gun has a cyl. bore , no choke.

If I have not said it before , if with any shotshell if there is signs of high pressure in the shell stop using that shell.
