Is this any good?

Post by Niceguy » Thu Nov 17, 2016 9:29 am

Is this worth a shit? Seems like a decent value for a "match grade" round... I have an 18" AR I'd like to see if heavier match grade ammo does better than 55gr bulk.

It's not Black Hills, but it's pretty darn good. On par with Fed GMM. It would be my pick if I weren't already hand loading a 75gr hornady

Everything I've ever read says it good stuff
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Barrel twist is extremely important when using heavy, long bullets. in 5.56, 68+ grain bullets won't stabilize in anything other than a 1:7 twist.

Crush, kill, mangle, maim, destroy.

It should handle up to 80 grain bullets, then.

Crush, kill, mangle, maim, destroy.
