Are these new, or just a new package?

New packaging. This stuff is kind of hot, like Stingers or Yellow Jackets. IIRC, it's 1400-1500 fps.

I think so, but I could be mistaken. They do make some .22LR ammo that moves right on out, like really quick. So quick it's bad about leading up barrels, so pay attention and keep an eye on your bore, if you use this stuff. It will definitely yield the ss "crack!" in a can.

Cool. I'm looking for something crackless...haha
I had some of their Standards that is quiet, but it's in a totally different box. I have a brick of their ultra/extra high or whatever velocity ammo. It sounds like shooting .22mag...

According to Aguila's website, the Super Extra standard velocity is 1130 fps. The subsonic is 1025 fps. There is also a Super Extra high velocity in the white, red and yellow box.

OK, I was mistaken, they keep changing thier packaging, making it more confusing to know what you're looking at.

I will say, however, that in my experience, Aguila ammo is usually a bit warmer than their competitors. Like Sellier & Bellot is quite often much warmer in centerfire loads.

I shoot CCI Standard and Norma, (1100fps) neither of which "cracks" from my pistol, or 12.5" Tactical Solutions SBX barrel.

I'll have to take a pick of the one I have when I get home. It doesn't crack out of my rifles. It says subsonico, or something like that. I need to try the Norma, I have thousands of rounds of CCI Standards, definitely my favorite...

If I shoot MiniMags out of my MK II'S (5-10" bbls), about 1 in 10 will make with the supersonic crack, maybe a bit more if the air is cold and dense. This was in Louisville at around 600' elevation.

Here, at 35-50' elevation, they almost never crack in my pistols.
