How to score on ammo
For this to work, you have to have almost instantaneous access to your e-mail.
Go to slickguns.net and set up an account (it's free). Up on the top, click on "My Alerts" and set up alerts for the ammo that you are interested in and the max that you are willing to pay per round. Anytime that ammo comes up at your price (or lower), you will get an e-mail alert. In the last 4-5 weeks, I have scored Aguila Subsonic 38gr for $.08 - $0.10 / round shipped. I have scored 1,000 rounds of 9mm for $0.30 / round delivered and just now got 1,200 rounds of PMC Bronze .223 55gr for $0.41 / round. It was from Cabelas so if you select delivery to the Louisville store, you do not get charged shipping. These prices are not great, but they beat the Hell out of the panic prices !!
I sit behind a computer all day, so I monitor it very close. I am noticing that prices are coming down and availability is increasing.
HTH !!

THIS. Seems times are getting better, but still no where near what they were pre-panic. Maybe the light at the end of the tunnel though...or a train!jackalo626 wrote:Yay! Come on low prices and high stock!

I agree... Just a little more and we are in the clear for the short term at least. Just my 2 cents...

Re: How to score on ammo
I just stopped buying ammo. I really don't think it's going away. I'll buy more when the BS is over.

Ditto. The sooner we stop buying ammo we don't *need* the sooner this fiasco will stop.KYgundude wrote:I just stopped buying ammo. I really don't think it's going away. I'll buy more when the BS is over.
Hopefully folks that didn't get the message last time around will this time: stock up over time, not all at once.
