Fitted an MOE handguard to my PLR16

Post by gundoc » Fri Mar 29, 2013 6:23 pm

Picked up a MOE handguard from KYgundude today and have now ruined it for use on an AR15 but it works great on my kel-tec. I did it with a dremel tool and a hand drill. Just take a little at a time till it fits and it works great. I had been looking for a better hanguard that the factory Kel-tec version. I had seen others do it online so I decided to try it. I used 4 each 6-40 button head screws to hold the top and bottom together so it has almost no movement.

Looks great!
The Kel Tec handguard was too thin.
Mine felt like it was melting after firing a couple of mags.
