Hey there!

I have a parts kit that has been itching to be built, but I have no time to do it these days. I heard there was a reputable builder here in KY (although the name escapes me).

Has anyone had a kit built/finished? This is a virgin kit, so the barrel needs Headspaced, and trunions need drilled (along with the other odds and ends). I would also like to have the dude (or dudette) either cerakote/parkerize/or black oxide the rifle.

As long as you have a registered receiver you can have one built.

You will need to have 07 build it.

Sa-arms cranky suggested did a WONDERFUL job on mine and you couldn't ask for a nicer guy either...

Assembled by Rob at Southern Armament and coated by Armor-Hyde. SA-Arms receiver, 1964 Romanian kit from Copes, barrel from Brownells. Almost too pretty to be called an AK...haha
