Barrel nut ar15

Post by ken6881 » Mon Dec 29, 2014 2:11 pm

Well I got a free float pistol handguard for my new build and it bottoms out on the receiver before getting tight on the barrel. Also I don't like the way it looks where the barrel contacts it.
Standard nut is square and tightens up the way it should.

Any issue with the seat being beveled?

For what it's worth measures about .050 long.

Another way is to put washers in front of barrel flange

I got some of those washer kits in stock, Ken... and can include one in your next order (I just replied to your PM earlier)
I think they run about 5 bux or so...

Looks like the same UTG set up I have on my .300BLK pistol.

It doesn't have a brand it's a 19.99 eBay special. So I didn't have high hopes when I ordered it just figured I would see if that's what I really wanted or a longer one.
